After watching our friend Craig’s swim, it was still early so we wanted to grab some brunch. We found Square Meals + Batter Bakery on Polk St. in San Francisco through a Yelp search. It was the perfect meal after an eventful morning. I recommend starting with the monkey bread, getting a side of perfectly cooked crispy bacon and then ordering the French toast (I got the Quiche but the French toast was better). Afterwards, grab some lavender sea salt shortbread cookies from the Batter Bakery to take home.
