I feel like our wedding planning and my blogging is so disconnected, I wanted to post a little update on the wedding portion of our lives. So far planning has been pretty easy with an exception of a few moments of panic from me (Chris called me Bridezilla within 48 hours of getting engaged). Luckily, I’ve had lots and lots of personal advice, apps, blogs, websites and other nifty tools to make planning (and our lives) much easier. I’ve also started reading this amazing book which has put a lot of things in perspective for me. We are planning on having an ad hoc/DIY event so things are coming together slowly but surely. Some major planning milestones we’ve achieved are booking a venue (therefore a date!), a coordinator and photographers. Next major thing on our wedding to-do is the food – and just a few other things (ha!).
