Our new house guests have arrived from Berlin, Germany! Sara, Eike and their baby Nouri will be staying with us for 4 months. I met Sara through a friend named Alicia, I made while studying in Italy. When I returned to Europe a couple of years ago for Alicia’s wedding, I got to know Sara and now she is married and has a baby! Chris and I can’t wait to show them the loveliness that is Northern California and we love having company in the house. We have taken them to the shopping district in San Francisco and drove through Chinatown, North Beach, the Marina and stopped at Crissy Field for pictures. They were impressed with “the American quality of life”. We will obviously give them a more in-depth tour of the city and Berkeley and all of the Bay Area in the next few months. I am so happy they are here and loving California!
