Since I wasn’t able to make it down to the Central Valley to visit my dad, I spent Father’s Day with Chris’ dad and family. His dad decided to make a full-on Greek feast, complete with roasted lamb, corn on the cob, potato salad and veggies fresh from his garden. I helped Chris’ sister, Gabrielle, make the most delicious homemade pita bread and tzatziki sauce I’ve ever had. I ate myself into a tizzy on Sunday but was so happy to spend the evening with Chris and his family. Boy did I score on the in-law department! This weekend will be the weekend that both our families have dinner together for the first time. We’ll be having another fabulous home-cooked meal at the Mieuli house, I can’t wait!
