I loved spending Easter weekend with Chris’ family. Along with our Easter egg dying extravaganza, Gabrielle and I spent the day making delicious cookies – Mint Milanos, Chocolate Sables and Scottish Shortbread. Meanwhile, Chris’ parents prepared a delicious Easter dinner, complete with a leg of lamb, asparagus, potato salad, sweet potatoes and a fresh green salad. Chris’ mom also made us Easter baskets filled with sweet treats and a giant chocolate bunny for each. It was a busy day in the Mieuli kitchen that ended in a wonderful dinner and a 3-cookie dessert.
